Anita's big day

I can't believe all the things that happened today. (1) Lotus woke up with a new tooth (her second). (2) Lotus started crawling. She has been getting better and better, but today she got the hang of it and took off. (3) Our niece, Rebecca, has been staying with us for 5 weeks and she left today to go home to Edmonton. (4) Aunt Flo surprised me with her return after a 16 month absence. (5) David got me a new camera/phone (his phone broke and he took my old one.) (6) I rode my bicycle with both kids on it for the first time. Lotus was in the backpack and Solana was in the back seat. I hadn't tried it before b/c I didn't think they would both fit back there. (7) To top it off, Solana put herself to bed. We were in the family room and she just left the room without saying anything. After a few minutes I went to check on her and she had emptied her bladder, undressed, and pulled the covers over herself and was fast asleep.
